  • 15 g almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. Spoon the yogurt into a jar or bowl.
  2. If using frozen berries, warm them for a minute so they release their juice.
  3. Layer the berries over the yogurt.
  4. Top with the almonds, cinnamon and honey if you want it sweeter.

Substitutions

  • Cottage cheese works instead of yogurt for a similar protein content.
  • Any berry, fresh or frozen, is fine.
  • Swap almonds for walnuts or pumpkin seeds.

Storage

Assemble up to a day ahead; add the nuts just before eating so they stay crisp.
